Eric Heads Home!

Many of you are familiar with Eric 's story since he came to StarsUganda. After four and a half years under our care, we are happy to report that Eric was reunited with his  family. It is bitter-sweet, as Eric was the third child brought into our care, so we have known and cared for Eric for a long time. In parallel to the work done with Eric, we have worked with his family to prepare them for this day. They are now empowered to care and provide for him.

We handed him over with bedding, clothes and food . StarsUganda will continue to cover his school fees, and  we will visit Eric at least once a month to follow up and ensure his wellbeing.

Achieving this milestone for Eric was only possible because of your generosity.  Eric has always said he wants to be a teacher; we will be monitoring his progress and cheering him on!

We still have work to do, there are many children waiting to be rescued. With your contribution we can continue this good work.
