During my recent visit to Uganda, I successfully achieved a range of important objectives. These included providing training for our dedicated staff, maintaining essential connections with each child resettled since 2020, identifying suitable land for the construction of a purpose-built home for children in our care, and welcoming new arrivals to our transition home. Despite the demanding schedule, I am delighted to share that both the children at home and those reunited with their families are thriving. Moreover, families supported with micro-loans are off to a promising start, underscoring our commitment to long-term sustainability. Additionally, I assessed potential land properties that align with our requirements and am now focused on starting the negotiation process and eventually initiating fundraising efforts to realize our vision of constructing a permanent residence for our children
